Frequently Asked Questions

  • Boost (rocket icon) is free and increases a story's visibility in the feed. Power (P button) is shown in the app as a community signal. Peopls may consider those signals, together with verification, moderation, safety, and platform rules, when reviewing story eligibility and approved payouts. Observer and Supporter Power are shown separately for transparency, and a Power vote is not a direct payment from you to a creator.

  • Supporter is a paid yearly membership to Peopls Inc. that helps support the platform and community operations. Power remains available in the app under current product rules, and any story payouts are still reviewed by Peopls under the Terms rather than sent as direct transfers from your membership fee to an individual author.

  • Peopls deducts a 5% platform fee from approved story payouts to help cover operations, processing, fraud review, and platform maintenance.

  • Go to Settings → Story Earnings to review eligible stories, save a payout account, and request payout for an eligible completed story. Requests are reviewed before payment is sent to your selected payout account, and payout availability depends on approved platform allocation.

  • All stories are reviewed for authenticity and policy compliance. Common reasons for rejection include: inappropriate content, lack of verification, misleading information, or duplicate stories.

  • Go to your Profile and tap "Get Verified". You'll need to upload a government ID and take a selfie. Verification typically takes 24-48 hours and increases trust in your stories.

  • Observers and Supporters both use Power under current product rules, and those signals are shown separately in the app for transparency. Observers receive free Boosts for visibility, while Supporter membership is a paid status that helps support the platform and community operations.

  • Your 10 Power votes reset every month. Your 10 Boosts also reset monthly to help stories get more visibility.

  • Go to Settings → scroll to bottom → Delete Account. This action is permanent and will delete all your data, stories, and transaction history.

  • Absolutely. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We never store your full card details on our servers.
